Brain Building Moments
Look in the mirror and compare your child's facial features to your own. Chat about how your features are different. For example, "I notice my nose is wider than yours. What do you notice?" Take turns sharing what you see.
BRAINY BACKGROUND
Differences are normal and make us who we are! Games like these also help your child to think like a scientist because they're observing the world around them and making guesses about how things compare or fit together.

Faith Building Moments
Teaching children that God made them special involves daily conversation and intentional activities. While looking in the mirror with your child, emphasize that they were made in God’s image and encourage gratitude that God created them with their unique traits and talents. God knew them before they were born and loves them deeply, regardless of flaws or mistakes.
“I am fearfully and wonderfully made”
Psalm 139:14
